Slippery Kittens Mission statement:

SLIPPERY KITTENS PURRLESQUE! Is dedicated to showcasing the fascinating,
bawdy, and classy art of burlesque and variety performance, spanning a
continuum of forms and musical genres, from time-honored sexy staples to
amazing avant-garde innovations. We strive to continually develop new
concepts, costumes, and performances to embrace not only the traditions
of the art form but also to break new ground.

Slippery Kittens Burlesque was formed in 2006 by Miss Lorrie Ann. There are currently 9 kittens in the litter, who all have their own "kittenish quality". Calling Salt Lake City home, these sultry strays strut their stuff one Saturday a month at Bar Deluxe located at 666 South State Street. Admission is $10 at the door and shows are at 10pm.

From lively laughs to cliff hanger endings, the Slippery Kittens have a little something for everyone to enjoy! Never a dull moment and always full of energy, these ladies will keep it going the whole show. Constantly exceeding expectations, the Kitties have achieved great recognition not only locally, but nationally. From newspaper articles, to earning Utah's Best of Burlesque in 2007, and starring in a major motion picture due to be out in fall of 2008.
